| Description: | This is an awesome opportunity to be a positve influence on the life of a child. Join our dedicated Childcare Staff at our Childcare facility at the Upper Main Line YMCA. Under the direction of the Associate Childcare Director and the Group Supervisor, the Assistant Group Supervisor will be the lead teacher of the 3 year olds, providing safe, high quality childcare and contributing to a safe, nurturing environment and high quality program.
Assist with the implementation of developmentally appropriate lesson plans for assigned class or group. Assist with specifically assigned duties - snack, clean-up, lunch, diapering (according to YMCA policies). Monitor group activities such as bathrooming, dressing for outdoors, swimming, circle time or arts and crafts.
Monday through Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM. |
| Qualifications: | HS Graduate/GED. College major in Education, Human Services or related field preferred. Must have ability to interact positively with children and communicate professionally with parents. Previous experience preferred
