Under the guidance of the Youth and Teen Coordinator, plan, prepare and lead engaging academic, enrichment and recreational activities for middle school students to develop and strengthen their academic, physical and social skills.
Promote the students' well-being, character development and social competence through homework support, service learning and leadership projects, aquatics, arts & humanities, health & wellness and team building.
Work Monday through Friday, 1:30PM to 6:00PM; bi-monthly Friday night middle school dances. |
| Qualifications: | At least 2 years of college with an emphasis in teaching/childhood development.
Minimum 1 year experience working with diverse youth in an organized setting.
Must be at least 20 years old with a clean driving record and the ability to relate well with middle school students and interact professionally and appropriately with parents and supporting UMLY staff. |
