| Description: | This is an awesome opportunity to be a positve influence on the life of a child. Join our dedicated Childcare Staff at our Childcare facility at the Upper Main Line YMCA. Under the direction of the Associate Childcare Director and the Group Supervisor, the PT Daycare Teacher (Assistant Group Supervisor) will provide safe, high quality childcare in a nurturing environment.
Assist with the implementation of developmentally appropriate lesson plans for assigned class or group. Assist with specifically assigned duties - snack, clean-up, lunch, diapering (according to YMCA policies). Monitor group activities such as bathrooming, dressing for outdoors, swimming, circle time or arts and crafts.
Monday through Friday 1:00-6:00PM |
| Qualifications: | Must be at least 18, HS Graduate/GED, with 2 years experience working with children.
College major in Education, Human Services or related field preferred. Must have ability to interact positively with children and communicate professionally with parents. |
