Description:The Berwyn YMCA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work with the Chief Operating Officer to provide high level administrative support. The successful candidate must have excellent computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to take initiative and multi-task. The candidate must possess a strong work ethic and maintain a cheerful, positive, professional attitude when dealing with members and staff, upholding at all times the mission and policies of the YMCA.

This is a year-round, part-time position,
20 hours/week.

Hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am - 1:00pm

Must be able to work occasional evenings.
Qualifications:HS Diploma or GED;
2 years experience in administrative role.
High degree of proficiency in computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. Create flyers and compose newsletters. Coordinate internal branch communciations. Compiles information and format reports. Ability to hold all information in strictest confidence. Superior communication and multi-tasking skills for a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
